The Always With You: Meow & Mystery demo is a free, downloadable trial on Steam that lets you play the opening of the game today, more than a year before the planned 2026 launch. How to download the demo
- Open the demo page on Steam.
- Click Download Demo and install it like any other Steam game.
- While you are there, open the full game page and add it to your wishlist so Steam notifies you at launch.
What is inside the demo
The demo covers the opening of the game, starting with chapter 1-1: you switch between Mia and her three cats, push stones, slip through gaps, and get your first taste of the ancient Alto civilization. According to the developer's interview with Bahamut GNN at launch, the demo was built around that first chapter, with chapters two and three already in development at the time.
- Playtime: short trial, focused on teaching the switching mechanic (to be confirmed — the developer has not published an official hour estimate)
