About Always With You
What is Always With You: Meow & Mystery? A cozy UE5 action-puzzle adventure about a girl, three cats, and the ancient civilization of Alto — developer, genre, and facts.
Last updated:
Always With You: Meow & Mystery (Chinese: 與貓同行) is a cute and relaxing action-puzzle adventure game developed by Taiwan's Snowyowl Studio in Unreal Engine 5, planned for a 2026 release on Steam with a free demo available today.
The game in two paragraphs
You play as Mia, a clever and courageous girl searching for her missing mother, traveling through a mysterious forest and the ruins of the ancient civilization of Alto. At your side are three cats — Caramel, Snow, and Kinoko — and the game's signature mechanic is switching freely between the girl and the cats, using each one's abilities to push stones, slip through gaps, and solve what the store page counts as 40+ meticulously designed puzzles and mechanisms.
The tone is warm and story-forward: shadow creatures lurk in the forest, guardian bosses cap the adventure, and the journey is as much about the company of cats as the puzzles themselves. The developer calls it a game about traveling with cats — hence the Chinese title, 與貓同行, "always with you."
